Restaurant
Eldhestar Restaurant offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere where most meals focus on Icelandic cuisine. We always try our best to supply our kitchen with produce grown locally with much of it coming from the town of Hveragerði, less than 2 km from our farm Vellir. Meat and fish are provided by local farmers and fishermen. Whether you’re staying at our hotel or nearby, we would be happy to welcome you at our restaurant.
BREAKFAST
Our breakfast buffet is included for all our hotel and guesthouse guests, daily between 7 AM and 10 AM.
It has a wide range of options, including cheese, ham, vegetables, fruits, milk products, cereals, jams, eggs, and bacon. One of the highlights is our guests’ favorite — freshly made waffles.
Lunch
For lunch, we offer a vegetarian soup of the day with bread and a choice of toppings such as cheese, ham, and vegetables.
Please note that table reservations are required by 10 AM on the day of your visit.
Lunch is available daily at 11:30 AM.
DINNER
We change our dinner menu daily to guarantee the use of fresh ingredients. Guests can choose from a variety of starters, main courses such as different kinds of meat, fish, or vegetarian option, and a selection of desserts. Our restaurant opens for dinner daily at 6 PM, with the last seating at 9 PM*.
We recommend booking a table in advance, either before your stay or upon arrival.
